Menguji Berpikir Kreatif Siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama melalui TTCT (Torrance Test Creative Thinking)

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui kreativitas siswa dalam mengerjakan Torrance Test Creative. Kreativitas yang dimaksud adalah kemampuan berpikir kreatif pada siswa. Proses pengambilan data di salah satu SMP Negeri di Kota Bandung. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII sebanyak 1 kelas, yaitu kelas VII-4 yang berjumlah 32 siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melaluI TTCT-Figural untuk melengkapi gambar (Picture Completion) yang digunakan. Hasil dianalisis melalui rubrik penilaian yang terfokus pada Keaslian (Originality). Dari hasil analisis data yang tergolong kedalam kategori tinggi sebanyak 9 orang (28%), yang tergolong sedang sebanyak 13 orang (41%), dan kategori rendah sebanyak 10 orang (31%). Dari penelitian tersebut adalah Torrance Test Creative Thinking (TTCT) dapat mengetahui berpikir kreatif melalui pembuatan gambar yang dikerjakan oleh siswa. Solusi untuk meningkatkan berpikir kreatif siswa dapat menggunakan pembelajaran berbasis Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).

 

This research was conducted to determine the creativity of students in working on the Torrance Test Creative. Creativity in question is the ability to think creatively on students. The process of retrieving data at one of the state junior high schools in the city of Bandung. The research subjects were class VII students as much as 1 class, namely class VII-4 which amounted to 32 students. Data collection is done through TTCT-Figural to complete the picture (Picture Completion) used. The results are analyzed through an assessment rubric that focuses on Originality. From the results of data analysis classified as high as many as 9 people (28%), classified as moderate as many as 13 people (41%), and the low category as many as 10 people (31%). From this study, Torrance Creative Thinking Test (TTCT) can find creative thinking through drawing made by students. Solutions to enhance creative thinking students can use learning based on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).
