POTENTIAL AND DEVELOPMENT OF MEDICINE PLANTS IN THE COASTAL COMMUNITY AREA

Abstract

The potential and development of medicinal plants on the territory of the Indonesian people is enormous, particularly in coastal communities where there are many medicinal plants and their potential exists in the areas and areas of coastal communities that, of course, need to be developed and their potential to be benefited by the communities that exist on the coast that serve as potential for both community treatment and the community's economic potential. To realize the extraordinary potential of this coastal region, it is necessary to develop, preserve, and obtain the medicinal potential of the medicinal plants that are found there. In order to examine the potential and growth of medicinal plants in the large coastal communities of Indonesian society, the literature method was employed in this study. The findings of this article demonstrate that in order to maintain the viability of medicinal plants in coastal community areas, documentation is required. It is also necessary to develop potential for public health and economic development for the community rather than medicinal plants in coastal communities.
